Children’s Yoga Teacher Training

Somatic-Centered. Story-Based. Soul-Led.

16-Hour Foundational Certificate | In-Person at Breathe STT

May 17–18, 2025

This 2-day foundational training offers a dynamic and developmentally responsive approach to teaching yoga to school-age children. Designed for educators, yoga teachers, caregivers, and youth professionals, this immersive experience will equip you with practical tools and creative strategies for integrating yoga, mindfulness, and social-emotional learning into classrooms, after-school programs, and family settings. Through movement, storytelling, breathwork, and trauma-aware practices, you’ll gain the confidence to create engaging and supportive experiences for children from early childhood through preteen years.

Rooted in over two decades of teaching in both public education and yoga, Lisa Brodrick brings a play-centered and developmentally responsive approach to working with children. Raised between Argentina and the United States, she draws on a rich intercultural lens and years of experience teaching across the U.S., Central America, South Africa, and the Virgin Islands. As the founder of Ohana Rising Yoga School, a Yoga Alliance–certified school, Lisa integrates evidence-informed tools with heart-centered presence. Her Wild Roots methodology—informed by over 16 years as a global trainer—blends somatic practices, storytelling, social-emotional learning, and restorative rituals designed to help children regulate, relate, and remember their wholeness.

This training is eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and can be applied toward Yoga Alliance Continuing Education for registered yoga teachers (RYTs).
